plan for procuring Forage, by Steam Boat down the Savannah River. You
will make a thorough investigation of this matter & report the
most feasible plan for immediate adoption. Consult the Supt of the
C&S RR {Charleston & Savannah RR} &
find out his ability to transport supplies promptly along the line of
