| This will certify that a
carboy of Nitric Acid was destroyed by combustion at this office whilst
unloading from our cars. |
| It appeared that the carboy
was not properly stopped and when placed on a truck the said ran down
the side unto the hay packed around which immediately took fire and
consequently destroyed. We consider the accident unavoidable. |
