| I have written to Misser Lewis and Jones to
let you have the metal if possible. On your certificate the materials
for the bridge {on the Nashville & Chattanooga RR}
will be ordered to be transported over the RRoad and on same
certificate the charges will be paid by the Qtr Mr of the Maj Genl Comdg
when the bills are presented. If Lewis and Jones make any difficulty
everything will be done to remove it by discretion of the Maj Gen Comdg. |
