| I certify that the Slave Boy Elijah Gatman,
aged about 30 years, the property of Messrs Criglar, Batahelder &
Povley, and employed as Teamster in the Quarter Master Dept of the
Confederate States, was killed, while in the discharge of his duties,
by the locomotive, at Pensacola on the Ala & Fla R Road, on or
about the 15th of Febry 1862. |
