| Lt Col A. L. Rives Acting Chief of Engineer Bureau at
Richmond Va. will pay Owen M Avery President of the Alabama and
Florida Railroad Company of Florida, one hundred and eighty thousand
dollars, $180,000.00, for two Locomotives, "Perseverance"
and "Dart" impressed by D. H. Kenney {document
torn and missing here} of the "Commission for Collection
and Distribution of Iron": that {document
torn and missing here} ing the final
valuation fixed by the State Commissioner of Alabama ($100,000.00 for
the "Perseverance" & $80,000.00 for the
"Dart") for the two locomotives upon appeals from the award
of the local appraisers. |
