I wrote to you on Feby 18th
requesting you to remit to Lieut Chas. Selden M. S. K. at this Armory
$200 by So. Express in payment for the keg of nails lost in transit by
your company as stated in your letter to me of the 12th inst. |
This amount has not been
received nor any advice of its remittance. As our accounts have to be
closed up I beg that you will remit at once. |
Remit in either 5.00 bills or
the new currency, as you have delayed sending until the time is past
when Govt. officers are authorized to receive the old currency. |
