XXIV The following named men being experts
and indispensable are detailed until further orders for duty in the
Quartermaster's Department, and will report as designated: J. F. Benton,
Company E, Thirteenth North Carolina Volunteers, to superintendent
Piedmont Railroad, at Danville, Va.; W. B. Motley, W. Miles, Company D,
Fifth North Carolina Volunteers, to superintendent Piedmont Railroad, at
Danville, Va.; John Young, Company C, Thirty-eight Virginia Volunteers,
to superintendent Richmond & Danville Railroad, in this city; Corporal
J. M. Newell, Company H, Third Regiment, Local Defense Troops, to
superintendent Richmond & Danville and Piedmont Railroad, in this city;
J. B. Roach, Company G, Fifth Florida Volunteers, to superintendent
Virginia Central Railroad, in this city. |
