The secretary of War directs that you
employ an agent whose duty it will be to visit the several Rail-Road
depots in this city daily and keep a record of the arrival of troops by
Companies, or Regiments, giving the names of the Commanders the
designation of the several Companies or Regiments, the state where
raised, and specifying whether mustered into service, or to be mustered
in. The report of all arrivals will be immediately made to this office. |
