| To All Whom it May Concern: |
| This is to certify that the
bearer hereof, S. T. Evans, of Stuart's Horse Artillery, has been
detailed in this Office and is employed as one of the regular couriers
between Richmond and Staunton, with dispatches for Gen. Lee, and it is
requested that officers and others will afford him all necessary
facilities in the premises. |
