& Alexandria RRd Company. |
| Accompanying this, by
direction of the Board of Public Works, I forward a Form for the
Annual Report, with blanks, which you are required to fill up by the
"resolutions in relation to the form of annual reports of rail
road and other companies," adopted by the general assembly of
Virginia on the 15th of March 1856, to which I beg leave to direct
your special attention. They may be found in the printed Acts of
Assembly of 1855-67, beginning on page 286. |
| You will particularly observe
that the report is to be made up to the 30th of September, and to be
filed in this office by the 15th of November; and that your company is
made liable to a penalty of five hundred dollars for a neglect to make
the report required by those resolutions. |
