Dear Sir, |
We telegraphed you this morning to aid Mr.
Jiter in getting over our timber. We are satisfied if you are fully
appraised of the importance of rendering all aid for this matter, you
would cheerfully do it. We assure you that we have heavy guns now
ready for fortification menaced by the enemy, which cannot go out for
want of carriages, and we have tried in every description and cannot
get this timber. Whatever assistance you render us in these matters
shall be suitably remembered. |
Please see Mr. Jiter and tell him that we
have written you on the subject. |
Very truly |
J. R. Anderson & Co. |
