Dear Sir, |
We write to get the favor of
you to inform us what quantity of Old Rails is at Strasburg for us,
forwarded there by Mr. Clark of the Winchester & Potomac Road
& what quantity has been already sent forward. Mr. Sharp on
account of the Confederate States, is also shipping us a considerable
quantity, and if we could get the favor of you to advise us whenever
either lot is being shipped, (the latter being intended for us also)
you would much oblige us, stating the No of Cars, quantity &c. |
If you cannot do this, please
name some one that would undertake to attend to it for us for a small
compensation. |
Very respectfully |
