Dear Sir, |
We now hand your Inve & Freight on
receipts for the iron shipped up to this date, say 396.13.1.00 upon
which there is a cash balance due as per statement $11,106.55 and you
are indebted to us a corresponding quantity of Old Rails, to be
delivered by the 1st Jany next, and if not then delivered, your
company to be charged interest until delivered. We think however it
will be proper to five percent at which your company shall owe balance
in cash as from day same the Rail Road Co. shall be unable to deliver
the old rails & we would name 1st March as that day. |
The cash payment $11,106.55 we hope you
can remit us at once, as we have paid for these Rails some time ago. |
Very Truly |
