| Dear Sir, |
| We have made an arrangement for a good
supply of wheel metal, a large portion of which is to come down your
road & unless it can be brought down we cannot supply you the
wheels. Our friends Crawford & Co. Staunton telegraphed us today
that your agent at Waynesborough declined to receipt for the metal they
are delivering there on the ground that the Road is in the hands of
the Government. Unless we can make an arrangement with you to bring
our iron from Staunton & Waynesborough it will be improbable for
us to ????? |
