| My Board will meet on Thursday night in Danville and I
have to report contract made with Mr Goforth for their approval. Will
you be so kind as to write a letter by our auditor Mr J. D. Blair who
will leave Richmond by this afternoon's train stating the increase in
rates you propose to allow us to commence up for the increase rates rent
for rolling stock allowed at your instance
{insistence?} the necessity for an explanation of the
transportation to the Board prompts this request. |
