At a meeting of the Board of Directors held at the
Richmond, Fred & Potomac Rail Road Company held on the 15th of
April 1861 |
Present: Mr Daniel President and Messrs
Mumford, Myers, Mills, Caskie and Haxall Directors |
The President reported to the Board that
under the authority of the Resolution of the Board adopted at the last
Meeting there had been sold on the terms indicated in that Resolution
238 shares of the Guaranteed Stock of this Company and that a contract
had been made with the Thomson Iron Works Company for the purchase of
410 tons of Iron Rails at $43.50 pr ton payable on delivery &
inspection of the Rails at Acquia Creek including freight. |
