| The President submitted to the Board an
agreement between G. W. Adams, Genl. Sup't. & Capt. John W. Glenn,
Capt. Engineers, PCSA, who under orders from Major Genl Howell Cobb
commanding &c. is charges with repair of the Central Rail Road
damaged by the enemy in their late advance through the country under
Genl. Sherman. That accurate accounts should be kept by the said Capt.
Glenn of all the expenses incurred in the repairs of the Road and the
sum total of these expenses shall be accepted by the Company as
payment to that extent by the Confederate States of any amounts due
them. |
