I
understand that an order from the Governor is necessary to enable the
people to get corn brought up by Railway. I have 35 bushels {about
2,000 pounds} at Boone Hill, designed for
my own use and which I am now needing -- that I should be glad to have
an order for. |
If
proper I wish the order to embrace the privilege of bringing 100
bushels. It will require 50 for my own family, and some others have
spoken to me to assist them in getting corn, and if procured will be
furnished to them at cost. |
