Recd at Monty 26 May 1864 of Minor Meriwether Lt Col Engineers PACS & Commissioner One Locomotive Engine named Industry the property of the Confederate States in good order in every respect which we promise to return upon the order of Lt Col Meriwether at any time in like good order and to pay for the use of the same while we have her in possession twenty five dollars per day.
