| Directors met at Union Depot,
present John L. Young President Protem. Dawkins, Jeter, Willer, Evans,
Keeman, Legg, Alston. |

| On Motion Mr Keenan, |
| Resolved, Whereas in the almost entire
cessation of business, Freights as well as Passengers, for the last two
months on this Road, our Company are unable to meet the Interest due on
their Bond payable in Charleston on the 10th Inst. |
| Resolved, That a committee of two
Directors consisting of Mess Jno L. Young and T. B. Jeter be appointed
to proceed to Charleston, forthwith and make such arrangements as they
may find practicable. |
| Resolved, That the Secretary communicate
to the President of the Bank of the State of South Carolina, the action
of the Board, and request him if possible, to waive note of protest,
which motion was passed. |
