| I have the honor to acknowledge the
receipt of copy of Senate Resolution of 13th of May touching the Blue
Mountain & Rome Rail Road. I have the honor to report that a contract
was entered into with the Ala & Ten River R. R. Co. on July 1st 1863 for
the completion of the grading, bridging &c of that portion in Ala. A
copy of which is herewith enclosed. Under that contract said Company
have completed the grading & bridging for about 15 miles north from Blue
Mountain. |
