| Please furnish me with the lengths of the
spans of Strawberry Plains Bridge {East Tennessee
& Virginia RR}. I desire to have the ??ss from back to face of
abutments, the widths of piers on top, and the clear spans between
masonry. |
| I have been notified that $50,000.00 would
be placed to my credit in the Depos. at Knoxville to be applied to the
Bridges now in your charge. As soon as the Depository notifies me of the
credit I will transfer the same to you, and request the Second Auditor
to change the amount. |
| Can you furnish me with the general
dimension of Louden Bridge? It will be well to prepare timber for its
duplication. I will employ mills if possible in sawing the required
lumber. Please give the clear spans, width of piers, height of truss &c. |
