| I am unable to say on what day I can meet
you in Rome, but will endeavor to do so during the coming week. In the
mean time, as you know the terms of contract and mortgage, you can go
forward with your preparations as if the meetings were closed. |
| Enclosed with your favor of May 30th, I
forward a dft. in favor of Gilmer & Co. in the Central Br. of Ala. for
50.00 which I have overlooked, and now return to you. It was doubtless
sent to me by mistake. |
