| The salt works are now under the immediate
direction of Amery Dexter Esq. Civil Engineer. He will report to you the
number of hands. I have purchased Bacon, peas, corn and some other
articles sufficient for the present, and perhaps next month. |
| He will probably call for rice Molasses
&c. I will sign the proper papers when forwarded by the Post Commissary. |
