| I have the honor to notify you that no
funds have been placed to my credit with Jno. W. Duncan Esq. Depository
at Atlanta in response to Requisition N.13 from your office and
Requisition No. 5413 from Second Auditor's office. |
| Mr. A. L. Maxwell, Bridge Contractor has
written and telegraphed sundry times from Macon in relation to funds
which he states was to have been placed in my hands for the purpose of
paying his account for the Duplication of Strawberry Plains Bridge E. T.
& Va. R. Rd. As I am not cognizant of his contract I shall need your
instructions touching the settlement. |
