DrSir, |
Your favor of yesterday has come to hand,
with contents as stated. I herewith enclose & send you the vouchers
signed. My copy of contract was destroyed with all my books & papers at
Knoxville by the Enemy consequently I cannot attach copy to voucher. The
account is correct ??son and just in accordance with the contract. Since
the sudden unexpected departure of Maj Norquest I dont know who to look
to for settlement for duplicating Strawberry Plains & Flat Creek bridges
on ET & Va RRd. Can you tell me? I beg favor to present my claim at
Richmond. My health is improving & I hope soon to be in condition for
active duty |
Thanking you for past favors, I remain |
Very Truly Yours |
