Dear Sir, |
I recd yours on yesterday on my return
from Ala. Capt. Haydon has failed to report to me the dimensions of
Holston Bridge. You can make your contracts for lumber sufficient to
cover 500 lineal feet for Holston, in addition to the Watauga. No extra
lengths will be required. |
Did you take the plan of the Bridge on the
Milledgeville Road, which I sent by request to your brother's house, to
Monroe with you? It has not been returned to my house. I shall remain at
home a few days. If you come to Atlanta, call and see me. |
I hope to hear that Capt. W. D. has
entirely recovered. My kind regards to him and Mrs. Grant. |
Yours very truly |
L. P. Grant |
