| A communication was received this morning
from Capt. T. J. Eason En. officer Walton Co., in which Capt. Eason
states that he will deliver the quota of impressed slaves from that
county, at Social Circle on Tuesday the 28th inst. |
| Capt. Grant left Augusta this morning and
I know not whether he will first go to Athens or to the head of the
road. In either event, however, I suppose you will see hi before the
28th. Please mention the purport of this letter to him. |
