Captain, |
Your letter of the 7th, and one of a
previous date have been received. It is doubtless some relief to you
that the iron question is closed for the present. Maxwell has not come
up to the time named by him for the completion of Watauga but the
weather has been so inclement that I suppose we ought to be satisfied
with his progress. |
Please give me the length of each span in
the two bridges, and the height of truss measured from bottom of lower
chord to top of upper chord. |
I am still waiting the arrival of funds.
There is some clog in the Treasy. Dept. |
If you should find hisure(?) to visit
Atlanta I shall be glad to see you at my house. |
With Kind regards |
I am |
Truly yours |
L. P. Grant |
