| Sir, |
| Although I do not know you, I take the
liberty write you a short epistle in order to know if you will need an
asst Surgeon to take care of the sick negroes that are at work on the
fortifications near Atlanta. I am 23 years of age Graduated in Medicine
in the spring of 1860. I have been asst Surgeon some time until now but
am out of business at this time and would like to get into service. I
will be pleased to hear from you this??? and if you can give me a
position I will much oblige. |
