| With permission of Richd Peters Esq Acting
Supt of the Road for which you are engaged, I desire you to pass over
the damaged portions of the Geo RRd between Oconee & Atlanta and examine
carefully the condition of the iron rails. Please report upon the number
which are twisted or otherwise injured for use and the number bent &
crooked which can be straightened. You will please also suggest the best
mechanical appliance in your judgment for straightening the bent rails.
Keep an account of your personal expenses which, with your time, will be
paid at this office. |
