| During the recent visit of Maj. Genl. J.
F. Gilmer to Atlanta, expenditures were authorized which will probably
exceed $50,000. The amt. reported to you in my hands on Nov.1st
($25,047.15) is nearly exhausted. |

Depository in Atlanta Ga. |
| Genl. Gilmer seemed to be well satisfied
with the efforts to defend Atlanta. |
