| Copies of your letter to the Secretary of
War and resolutions passed by the Board of Directors relating to the
recent Act of Congress loaning Bonds of the Confederate States to aid in
completing a Rail Road from Blue Mountain Ala to Rome Ga, have been
forwarded to me from the Engineer Bureau at Richmond. |
| My report to Col Gilmer, in which the iron
question was paramount was forwarded on the 13th inst. |
| I shall be glad to receive any suggestions
from you which may tend to the accomplishment of the object we have in
view. |
