service |

| The above have been in my service since
Sept 1863 -- are now employed as overseers of negro forces on Defenses
of Augusta |
| I certify that they are indispensable to
the efficient prosecution of the Govt work under my charge. |

was detailed to me as draughtsman on the 25th of July last. He has not
yet reported to me. |
