| $100.00. The Alabama and Mississippi Rivers Rail Road
Company, acknowledges to owe and promises to pay on the first day of
January 1863 to George Simmons on order One Hundred Dollars for hire
during the present year of Negro man Sevi and binds itself to furnish
said negro with two outfits of summer clothes and one suit of winter
two pair shoes, a hat, and blanket, and to pay Doctors Bills and
Taxes. |
