| Marengo County Alabama, July 2d, 1861 |
| The Board of Directors of the Alabama &
Mississippi R R R Co met this day at the residence of the President. |
| Present G. G. Griffin President Directors
Chas Walker, Jas L Price Jno W Lapsly, J M Lee and W P Bocock. The Board
being called to order the following resolutions were adopted. |
| 1st That the Ch Engineer be instructed to
locate and establish a Depot on the land of Mr. D. Walker, at such
point, being suitable, as will be most convenient and accessible to the
road to be on the west line of the 16 Section, as in the direction of
Dayton from the Rail Road |
