Directors' Meeting of the Alabama & Mississippi Rivers RR, May 15, 1861}
Resolved that the President be authorized
to have let to contract the work west of Demopolis or such part thereof
as he may deem advisable on the best terms practicable, working to the
completion of the whole work at the earliest day practicable.
