Demopolis Feby 22d & 26th 1863
   The board of Directors of this Company met at their office at 2 oclock M
   Present G G Griffin President and Directors W P Bocock R H Hudson C Walker J W Lasley Jus L Price and R D Shackleford

   The following motions were then adopted
   That the President be and he is hereby authorized to credit all accounts due and to become from the Government of the Confederate States for Transportation, on any debt of this Company to the Confederate States, contracted as the purchase of Iron paid for by the Government
   Whereas Henry Walker, employed as a freight Engine Driver on the road of this company has been guilty of flagrant violation of duty by reckless driving of his engine, whereby the Company has sustained heavy damages and life has been lost by it. Resolved
   That the Company regard the said Walker as unworthy the trust heretofore reposed in him as an Engine Driver, and that he be forthwith discharged from the service of the Company, and that as a slight compensation for the damage he has caused the Company his wages not here to him paid be withheld
   That the Superintendent be instructed to cause all the Train hands to be immediately vaccinated and to direct the road master to have the hands regularly employed on the repairs to be vaccinated
