| The Board of Directors of this Company met
this day at 12 oclock M |
| Present G G Griffin President and
Directors Jas L Price Charles Walker R H Hudson W P Bocock and R D

| Col Sam Tate Military Superintendent made
a detailed report of his operations in completing the rail Road of the
Company from McDowells Landing to York Station with statement of cost &c
whereupon the following resolutions offered by Gen W P Bocock was
unanimously adopted. |
| Col Saml Tate Military Superintendent of
this Road having presented to this Board accounts shewing his
transactions for the Confederate Government in the construction of that
portion of our Road west of the Tombigbee River |
| Resolved that this Board has the highest
opinion of the energy & efficiency and business like manner in which he
has discharged his dutys to the Government on their behalf |
| Resolved That the President is authorized
to settle with him, for said Government in such manner as he shall think
proper, after due examination of all the accounts to and the facts and
circumstances connected with the same. |
