The New Orleans & Carrollton RR owned all the shares of the Jefferson & Lake Pontchartrain RR. The only list of the rolling stock for the two railroads has the stock listed without specifying which road owned which piece. The listing is probably good for the war period, though a few pieces may have been lost during that time. Some cars must have been received in early 1861, as the company asked to have them without tariff on June 1. |
