Bell quotes the following from Colburn's Locomotive Engineering, p. 82-83:

Firebox heating surface: 87.5 square feet

Grate area: 18 square feet
Number of tubes: 135
Diameter of tubes: 2"
Length of tubes: 14 feet
 
   The cylinders were set horizontally and were bolted to a flat-sided smoke box. The valves were worked by drop hook gear
