| You are hereby notified to
appoint an Appraiser to meet an appraiser to be appointed by me, for
the purpose of ascertaining and determining the value of the Iron
rails, chairs and spikes, and scrap iron on the line of the Florida
Rail Road and about its Depots and Shops. |
| An early answer is required,
in which you will please state the name of the Appraiser selected by
you, should you appoint one, when I will appoint a person to act in a
suitable capacity, on the part of the Confederate States Government.
