| Dear Sir, |
| Under our agreement for the
use of your RRd for the transportation of our coal, the date up to
which we pay the Ala Coal Ming. Co for coal under contract is Feby
1st. I find on examination that was near the time I met Genl Robinson
at Montevallo. Will you please draw up the papers at once, and mail
them to me. It would also be well to insert in the agreement a
provision giving this co. the privilege of erecting a platform on your
Rd, for the purpose of loading the coal and to load the cars from.
Genl Robinson thought we might have the use of one of yours but you
may need it, as the new co will likely increase the business. |
