| We have only coal enough on hand to run
the mill this week. The Montevallo Coal road will be taken up the next
week. We consume in the mill 11 tons coal per day and some
arrangements must be made to keep us supplied. Can this be done from
the S. & N. R. Rd. {South & North
Alabama RR} with regularity for 10 cars pr month. |
| It is coal or stop until we can accumulate
supply as we have to pay our workmen when the mill stops for want of
coal. |
