Dear Sir,
I send you by Monday's Freight Train 4 car loads of corn. I sent 1 Car to Faunsdale to for corn. I will send you 15000 lbs fodder {about 1 car load} -- as soon as the cars return. that is I have the promise of it. I think I can buy as much corn & fodder as you will want & have it delivered on the Marion RR {Cahaba, Marion & Greensboro RR}. Send the Cars down as soon as possible as I can use them till I get all of your corn out. I will send the lamp up as soon as they are finished my Bro has bought 17900 Bu of corn {about 63 car loads} I have his memorandum of corn of whom it was bought & where delivered.
