Dear Sir,
We ackn receipt today of 4 cars of coal from the Montevallo Coal Co. This will last us only about 2 1/2 days. The S&N RR {South & North Alabama RR} will not be able to furnish us any coal for 10 to 15 days. Coal to keep us going will in the meantime have to come from the M. Coal {Montevallo Coal RR} road. We have in there about 300 tons. Try and have it brought out. We must have to keep us going at least 10 cars per week. We expect to start 2 more puddling furnaces in a few days and shall then require 15 cars per week. If you think you can furnish that quantity ans us and I will make arrangements to start the other 2 furnaces at once. I send to Capt. Wurzback for
