The question of purchasing
Iron was taken up and discussed when the following resolution was
offered by Dr. Anderson and adopted unanimously:
Resolved that the President be
and he is hereby authorized to invest the balance of the State Loan in
the purchase of Iron and outfit for the Road, providing for all expenses
appertaining to the same.
