| Gentlemen, |
| Your Communication of the 20th ult. was
duly recd. at this office per last mail. |
| Mr. Arnold, President of said Company, is
now absent from this State, and as he representing said Co. would
probably desire to be heard, so as to place all the facts in
connection with its affairs with Morgan Bros before you, prior to your
official determination of the Subject matter of said Communication. |
| I would therefore respectfully suggest
that you defer action thereon until after said President's return --
probably about the 15th instant -- and further advice from him. |
