   The railroad from Atlanta {the Western & Atlantic RR} does not supply our wants. Our officers complain of great negligence in the management of the trains and great delay from want of fuel. I beg Your Excellency to consider that the army here depends for subsistence on this Georgia railroad. If it does not supply us we cannot defend this portion of the State.
