The N. C. Railroad
   The annual meeting of the Stockholders in this Road was held in this city on Thursday last. A very heavy business has been done by the road during the past year and a dividend of 15 per cent. has been declared. The following brief statement from the President's Report, which has been kindly furnished us gives a brief but gratifying exhibit of the operations of the year ending on the 31st May, 1864:
